Speakscraft Young Debaters Program
Overview
The Young Debaters Program is an exciting offering within the SpeaksCraft Mastery Series. It enables students who have progressed from general public speaking to learn how to think on their feet, defend a position as a team, and debate with confidence and persuasion.
This ongoing weekly online program is designed specifically to teach students the advanced art of team debating, introducing them to competitive critical thinking, strategic arguments, and formal debating rules.

What Students Will Do
- Advance Beyond Public Speaking: Transition from speechmaking to systematically analyzing topics, building logical case structures, and constructing targeted arguments.
- Master Rebuttal: Learn to listen critically to opposing arguments, identify logical flaws, and deliver effective counterarguments on camera.
- Think Strategically Under Pressure: Develop the mental agility to interpret motions, organize points quickly, and respond dynamically during live debates.
- Collaborate in Breakout Rooms: Work in virtual prep rooms with teammates to build unified team lines and shared strategies.
